This collection consists of 2 Bibles containing family records, family records digitized from another Bible, and two digital prints of an image taken in the mid-1940s of Joyner and Rouse family members on the front of the Rouse-Joyner House in La Grange, N.C. Included are an 1823 Bible containing family records for William Galloway (b. 1781) and his wife Martha (b. 1782); an 1876 Bible containing family records for James Galloway (son of William and Martha) and his wife Nancy and also tintypes; and digital images of family records from an 1886 Bible belonging to William and Lena (Galloway) Proctor. |
